SpottR Activates Community Programs in Other African Countries
Intensifies on strategic engagements prior to its app launch
SpottR has activated online community groups in an effort to enhance strategic engagements across Africa in preparation for its version one app launch coming up early next month.
SpottR now has community programmes in Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Nigeria — where it all began. SpottR engaged brand ambassadors from these countries to improve brand awareness and promote the SpottR brand in their respective countries.
Virtual communities were further set up to begin to build connections with prospects and stakeholders, and provide updates and valuable information regarding its upcoming product launch.
“Community building is deeply enshrined in not only our culture but our approach and we have seen significant gains from it. One of the gains has been bootstrapping a project like SpottR right into the revenue stage and becoming Pan African within one year.” Gerald Konwea, the CEO of SpottR said.
SpottR is an inclusive organisation committed to bringing the African continent into an ecosystem that would improve businesses across Africa. With new features like a bot, user name, and a wallet, the new app will improve the visibility of African businesses on the global front.

SpottR is almost set to release a new version of its app. The app release slated for next month will be a version one rollout — the first following a successful MVP launch in 2020. The revised app is expected to be more powerful but, most importantly, helpful to users. Consequently, additional features have been added to ensure that buyers and sellers get optimal value in the SpottR ecosystem. Some of the features to anticipate include:
- Cliq Token in the Wallet: The new app comes with a wallet where the spottR utility cryptocurrency (CT) sits. Users can make payments for goods and services using the CliQ Tokens in their wallets. This will ensure smooth transactions and an end-end payment process within the app.
- Bot: The SpottR bot is AI-driven. It works round the clock on social platforms crawling for potential buyers. SpottR bot works with specific keywords that reveal the intent of social media users and qualifies them as people seeking to buy an item or service. The bot readily provides answers to their search by recommending SpottR merchants to these ones. The introduction of the SpottR bot is to heighten visibility which is a hallmark of the value SpottR promises to serve.
- Username: The username will enable everyone on board to have a user identification. The username feature would improve the authenticity and smooth sail of crypto peer-to-peer payments within the app. In addition, the advent of the username feature will enable users to search for brands without difficulty.
SpottR is a Social commerce ecosystem that uses intelligent visual tools to help users discover the world around them twice as fast. SpottR initiated Its native ERC20 token to help solve Africa’s nonconsumption problem.

SpottR Announcement — App Release, Token Distribution And Exchange Listing
It’s no longer news that our-token offerings officially ended with the month of March on all of our sales channels and we thank all of our contributors/investors and supporters for their support. We guarantee you that an investment in SpottR is an investment in you too because, at SpottR, everyone is a shareholder!
Standing on our existing culture of community and in line with global best practices, we’d like to let you know our plans for you, the cliq token and the general project.
App Release and Token Distribution
The SpottR v1 app release is a little off schedule but we are still on course for an April launch. Tokens that were earned and purchased directly from the company will be distributed in-app and this means that token distribution will commence as soon as v1 launches. SpottR loans will also be available post launch. The total amount of cash that will be available for credits and loans disbursement will be announced in-app and only those who already purchased CLIQ tokens in will be eligible in the first run.
Please note that tokens that were purchased via our exchange partners (Latoken and Bitfxt) will be distributed immediately and by the partners.
Exchange Listing
We are still committed to listing on the best exchanges that will serve our community and while the token distribution stage is active, we will evaluate more options and announce our final picks via our regular channels. Please stay tuned for our updates throughout the month.

Overview of the First SpottR Virtual Conference
We had a successful virtual event last week tagged “Growing Wealth in the New Digital Economy” with about 120 attendees.
The 5 amazing speakers exposed attendees to practical ways to grow wealth and growth hack strategies to being the online boss by leveraging on new technologies that power the new digital world. Speakers of the event Include in no particular order;

SpottR APP Activates 36 Tertiary Institutions with its N18 Million Prize CAMPUS OPEN API CHALLENGE

Since students are the early adopters of Technology, SpottR management decided to launch the Campus API Challenge to serve as a port that allows businesses to plug into the solution Spottr presents to the commerce space.
In this challenge, new solutions can easily be integrated and disintegrated without affecting the operations of the entire Ecosystem.
The challenge has so far activated 36 Tertiary Institutions cut across Private and Federal Universities, State universities and Polytechnics.
The challenge is getting very competitive and notably the University of Ibadan is taking the lead currently. In average, all telegram groups for the 36 activated schools has at least 100 members each.

SpottR App is Trending As #1 Productivity App on Google Play
In less than two days after the Spottr App launched, it trended as the #1 Productivity App on playstore. The SpottR was launched in the early hours of August 1st but due to the delay in approval from Google play which is a new reality since the pandemic, it was approved around 7pm of the same Day.
The app got over 200 downloads organically from the first day making it trend as the #1 productivity App on playstore. The screen shots below justifies these truth. This is a sign for better days to come for your business and the general Ecosystem.

UNIBEN Campus Invasion (12TH FEBRUARY, 2020)

The first action towards the community build was the University of Benin Campus activation which registered over 700 attendees. The orientation and sensitization programme which was about the SpottR/CLIQ token project as well as Blockchain technology is one of the most talked about event on the campus till date. The event was held at the 1000LT (Lecture Theatre) of the faculty of Engineering on the 12th of February 2020.
Pictures taken from the event as well as a video currently present on our YouTube channel has been embedded below this article. A lot was learned by the attendees and the prizes were won by outstanding performers. Not to forget all 700 attendees were fed with lots of leftovers after the program. After the program, popular crypto blogs (cointelegraph and Crypto Telegraph) have since taken the initiative to post the video of the event on the platforms with almost 50, 000 views each with a lot of shares. Several other schools would have been activated but for the Covid 19 crises that has plagued our world.
